“I have no artistic ability”
People say to me all the time. But I think everyone is capable of art. People with no mechanical ability drive cars. If they do enough driving, the practice makes (most of) them better, safer drivers.

The key is to practice in a safe nurturing environment. There are no “right” or “wrong” attempts. This puts everyone at ease and lets everyone see what develops with a sense of pride, accomplishment, and fun.. Often, the best art work was never “as planned” but the end product is far more creative.
The beauty is in the activity, the social value of comradery, finding new talents, skills, and so much more.
